1.     Accountancy & Audit,  Management Accounting

Mike King our general practice partner overseas the team whose services include:

  • Preparation and where applicable the statutory audit of accounts
  • Periodic management accounts
  • Budgets, Projections, Cash flow forecasting, Financial modelling
  • Assistance with preparation and presentation of Business Plans
  • Partial or entire outsourcing of  client accounting

2.     Sage Accounting

We are a Sage authorised dealer with 4 of our staff able to process data via sage software and or assist clients with their own sage systems.

3.      Company Formations

We can set up new companies for you including all the necessary form filling,PAYE and VAT registrations. ( Speak with Laura Kelly)

4.     Payroll

Caroline Giles runs the Sage Payroll department for a number of organisations and companies from 1 or 2 employees to over a 100.

5.     Taxation

Barry Peckham deals with personal tax and Mohamed with the more intricate personal and corporate tax planning. Whilst we are able to deal with most situations, we do have ongoing arrangements with tax specialists for the more complex matters.

6.     Financial Services

When we identify investment and pension opportunities, we recommend and introduce clients to experts who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority .

7.     Fund Raising

We have a number of banking and venture capital relationships which we have cultivated over the years. In particular Chris Stewart, in a previous career was a senior manager with a Merchant Bank in London and, has worked with a leading venture capitalist on numerous occasions.

8.     Corporate Finance & Management Consultancy

Both Chris Stewart and Mo Ladha have been on both sides of  acquisitions and disposals, being involved in the design, negotiation and execution of a number of transactions.

9.     Non executive and or part time Interim Management

On occasions clients need the expertise and experience of a senior independent financial director, without the ongoing fixed cost of a permanent employee.

Typically the role may be :

  • Temporary part time financial director until planned growth justifies a full time director.
  • Ongoing strategic input including board meetings, presentation and interpretation of financial information.
  • Managing the acquisition or sale of a business including liaising with the various lawyers, acquires, due diligence professionals etc.
  • Crisis management  where financial systems are inadequate or have collapsed. This could include intensive care where the banks need reassurance that proper financial management is available even when the outlook for the company’s survival may look challenging.
  • Mentoring the business proprietors and senior management with a view to increased profitability, reduced risk, labour efficiency, outsourcing, business to business networking.
  • Ad hock projects such as corporate re organisation, downsizing
